Christmas tree pickup in Perry officially starts today with residents being able to place their real Christmas trees on the curb before 7 a.m. to go to the recycling center.
If you weren’t able to get your Christmas tree out on the curb for the first pickup date there will be another pickup on Wednesday, January 13th.
Things to keep in mind are that all ornaments and decorations must be removed from the tree before placing on the curb. You can place live Christmas trees, evergreen garlands, and wreaths out on the curb, and be sure not to place the trees or greenery in disposal bags.
Anyone with questions can contact Perry City Hall at 515-465-2481.
