There will be plenty of good food for take out during a local fundraising event in Minburn.

The Minburn Emergency Rescue Team will be holding its annual soup and pie fundraiser at the Minburn United Methodist Church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 23rd. . The menu will include potato, chili, and split pea soup along with various desserts for a free-will donation. 

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the event will be a drive-through or carry-out only. Participants are asked to approach the church from the north on 7th Street where volunteers will be available to take orders and deliver meals to vehicles. 

All the proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to fund equipment purchases for Minburn First Responders.
