wcv-10

West Central Valley Wildcats basketball will be returning to the court tonight when they take on West Central Activities Conference foe Van Meter in Stuart.

On the girls side, the Wildcats will be continuing to find some ways to win as they come in with a 3-6 record while Van Meter counters at a 4-3 record. Van Meter has been able to control the series winning every single contest since 2012, but the Wildcats are hoping that they can force the Bulldogs into multiple turnovers, one that can lead them to points.

On the boys side, the Wildcats come in with a 1-8 record while Van Meter counters with a 4-1 record. WCV will need to do a lot of things to pull off the upset, but probably the most important thing they will need to do is hit more shots, as they will probably need to shoot above 40% if they are looking to pull off the upset.

Tip time for the girls will be at 6 o’clock tonight with the boys to follow at West Central Valley High School.
