The Dallas County Board of Supervisors appointed Brad Golightly as the board chairperson at their meeting Monday. 

The Board also approved the 2021 renewal of Iowa Communities Assurance Pool insurance and will discuss increasing the amount of excess liability insurance the county carries. The Board approved the broadband steering committee members, board appointments, official depositories and newspapers, Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning Alliance and Metropolitan Planning Organization technical committee members, 2021 Mid-IA Development Finance Authority representatives and also approved a construction evaluation resolution.
