The New Years holiday is tomorrow, and several offices and businesses will be closed in Jefferson.

The Jefferson Public Library is closing at 6pm today, and will remain closed on Friday. Then on New Years Day, the Jefferson City Hall, Greene County Community Center, Greene County Courthouse, Greene County ISU Extension office, the Welcome Center and the Jefferson Post Office will all be closed in observance of the holiday.

Library staff reminds patrons that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.
