With the coronavirus pandemic forcing the cancelation of many events the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce fulfilled a different purpose this year. 

While some events were able to be changed to fit the restrictions of the coronavirus pandemic, Adel Chamber Director Deb Bengtson says the Chamber focused on connecting businesses and reminding people to support local businesses this year.

“Also, doing a huge campaign of reminding our Adel residents, take care of our Adel businesses first. Think Adel first, shop Adel. Our small businesses need you more than they’ve ever needed you in the past.”

Bengston says 2020 was a mix of trying to do some things of the past but also looking at what businesses needed the most.
