With the recent completion of the renovation at the Perry Public Library, the coronavirus pandemic has prevented the public from seeing the updates.

The year of 2020 has been rough for everyone, including public libraries, but Perry Public Library Director Mary Murphy is hopeful that 2021 will bring good things for patrons who miss their programs and time at the library. 

 “We are going to start some new programming in January. The whole reopening issue is going to be considered again at the library board meeting on January 10th. I’m hopeful that almost normal will be here soon.”

Murphy says she can’t wait to be able to show off the renovations at the library.
