Raccoon Valley Radio wrapped up its Caring Christmas Food Drive last Monday.

The Caring Christmas Food Drives, which totaled about 30 events and 60 hours, helps bring assistance to local area food pantries. Raccoon Valley Radio General Manager John McGee appreciates all of the sponsors, clients, community members, and grocery stores who helped make the food donations possible. 

“This year especially with everything going on the need is so much greater, the food pantries are so much more appreciative of every donation that they receive. It was pretty exciting just to be a part of it and then to see our staff be willing to dig in and help out and sacrifice some time away from their family that’s what it’s all about.”

The Caring Christmas Food Drives mainly focus on the areas of Greene, Guthrie, and Dallas County areas.
