With the coronavirus pandemic getting in the way of normal life, the City of Perry found a way to push through and complete projects this year.
While the positives from the year of 2020 may be few and far between, Perry City Administrator Sven Peterson says the City of Perry found ways to complete projects that were on schedule to take place this year including the Perry Public Library and McCreary Center renovations, some street projects, and even housing projects.
“Despite the pandemic, we really did have a successful year with some of our other commercial, industrial and residential projects. We have a 30-unit apartment building going up right now. They are moving dirt for 32 single-family residential homes.”
Peterson is thankful to have as many projects completed this year as there were, and looks forward to continued progress next year.
