Winter weather conditions will return to the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area today.
According to the National Weather Service, Greene and Guthrie counties will be under a winter weather advisory from noon until midnight tonight. The advisory includes total snow accumulations of up to two-inches and gusty winds of up to 45-miles-per-hour. The high winds could cause blowing snow, which could impact visibility on the roads. Dallas County is expected to get less than one inch of snowfall.
Temperatures will also decrease throughout the day with wind chills close to 20 degrees below zero in some areas tonight. Motorists are also reminded to drive to the conditions of the road.
