ADM Tigers girls basketball played a brutal schedule during the first portion of their 2020-21 season, as they currently have a 2-6 record, but the record doesn’t tell the story of how tough this schedule as been.

Of the six losses, five have been to state ranked teams, four in class 4A and one in class 5A. The Tigers are 2-1 against opponents that are not currently ranked in the state of Iowa poll, as they are better than their record indicates. The Tigers have also been competitive on the defense end of most of these games, as well as taking state ranked Bondurant tied into the fourth quarter earlier in December.

Coach Jacob Cleveland knows that the tests are good for the team, with the most important thing for this Tigers team being that progress is made and that they are playing their best basketball in the months of January and February as well.

ADM basketball will have no games the rest of this week and next week as well, and hope that the wins will come with a little bit of an easier schedule when things re-fire back up for the Tigers in January.
