The Perry City Council approved the acceptance of an Iowa Economic Development Authority Award at their regular meeting Monday.

Also, the Council approved the pay application #2 for the 28th Street construction and the statement of completion and final acceptance of the project. The Council approved the change order 10 for renovation at the Perry Library, pay request #3, and the final change order contract amendment and completion of the library renovation. 

The Council approved the withdrawal from the Intergovernmental Agreement for the Promotion of Tourism and Convention Activities with the Greater Des Moines Convention. The hopes are to use some of that money to possibly hire a marketing and communication coordinator or marketing company to help promote the City of Perry.

The Council also approved making Council appointments for Central Iowa Regional Transportation Planning, a plat of survey to establish a parcel within the City of Perry, the fiscal year 2022 airport capital improvement program, annual Shoretel maintenance agreement with CPI Telecom, an Urban Renewal Loan Application and a contract with gWorks for the FrontDesk application.
