Second shotgun season ends today for Iowa hunters, signaling the beginning of late muzzleloader season on Monday.

Iowa Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officer Jeremy King details the weapons that are allowed for this season.

“You can use a crossbow during that season or a pistol as long as it meets our legal requirement.”
