The Guthrie Center Chamber of Commerce’s discounted Chamber Bucks program was scheduled to run through the end of this week, but President Kristen Crouthamel says it was more successful than they planned.

“The promotion we were doing, 50 Chamber Bucks for $40 or 100 Chamber Bucks for $75, so either a 20 or 25 percent discount depending on how many you bought. We ran out a week before the deadline because people came and snatched those up. Hopefully there will be a lot of Chamber Bucks in people’s stockings this year.”

She says the Chamber is planning this event for next year, and they’re already talking about improving the program for 2021. Chamber Bucks are still available to purchase in $5 increments without the promotional rate.
