In another showing of generosity, the Perry Fareway presented the Perry Chamber of Commerce with $2,000 in Fareway gift cards Friday. 

Earlier this year when the pandemic began, the Perry Chamber first received a donation of $2,000 in gift cards from the grocery store chain to give out to local businesses affected by the pandemic. Those gift cards are used to give to employees or help the businesses and their owners. 

Perry Fareway presented the Perry Chamber with 40, $50 Fareway gift cards that will be given to local businesses, focusing on hospitality and restaurants.

This year Fareway has donated $400,000 to the program that gives these gift cards out to chambers throughout Iowa.
