8:00am: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 900 block of Grant Street, Scranton.

1:00pm: A deputy investigated a child custody issue in the 800 block of Jay Street, Churdan.

3:30pm: A deputy investigated a scam in the 500 block of Chicago Street, Scranton.

4:42pm: A deputy investigated a two-car accident on 210th Street and highway 30. The Iowa State Patrol covered the accident.

5:24pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 400 block of East Paton Street, Paton.

6:12pm: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 235th Street near R Avenue.

6:18pm: A deputy, the Sheriff, Greene County Ambulance responded to a medical call in the 1200 block of E Avenue.

8:11pm: The Sheriff, deputies, Grand Junction Rescue, and Greene County Ambulance

responded to a hit and run truck vs pedestrian on North 16th Street near Sandoe Street. The pedestrian was transported the Greene County Medical Center and then Life Flighted to Des Moines. The driver was located and the Iowa State Patrol are investigating the accident.

10:58pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 2200 block of 120th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
