ADM Tigers Basketball shot the ball well early in their game at North Polk on Tuesday Night, hitting fourth threes in the first two minutes of the game, but unfortunately couldn’t keep up the hot shooting and fell to the Comets by the score of 55-50.
ADM moves to 1-4 on the season and North Polk improves to 2-3. This is the first win in the series for North Polk since the teams started playing again in 2016.
ADM and North Polk both got out to quick starts with the Comets star Jevin Sullivan able to come out of the gate quick with 10 points in the first quarter, and ADM getting threes from Ethan Juergens and Sam Hlas to start the frame. Both teams were tied at half 24-24, but North Polk made their mark in the third quarter with 18 points in the frame, as their supporting cast stepped up to make some big plays. In the fourth, ADM trimmed the lead down to four, but couldn’t get closer as North Polk was excellent at the free throw line down the stretch.
The next game for ADM is scheduled for next week, as they hope to end 2020 on the right foot.
