Time is running out for Greene County residents to send their letters and wish lists to Santa Claus.

Jefferson Matters: A Main Street and Chamber Community Executive Director Reegan Hanigan encourages anyone who wants to send Santa a letter, to drop it in the mailbox right outside the Welcome Center in Jefferson.

“Santa did call us, and he did let us know that if he does receive a child or an adult letter, he’ll get back to them. So you will get a letter back from Santa Claus himself if you get that letter turned into that mailbox by December 12th.”

Hanigan points out to leave a return address on the letter so Santa can easily send his response directly to your house before Christmas Day. No postage is necessary.
