The coronavirus pandemic couldn’t stop Santa Claus from coming to Perry this year as a local hotel will be hosting Saint Nick tomorrow and Saturday.
Hotel Pattee in Perry will be hosting Santa from 5-7 p.m. for families to come out and visit. Santa will be following social distancing guidelines and wearing a mask as well. Families will be able to choose how they interact with Santa.
Families can choose whether their child sits on Santa’s lap or beside Santa or takes a picture or even waves at Santa. Santa is willing to do what the parents prefer.
Additionally, there will be meals available for curbside pickup or dine-in and will consist of lasagna, salad, and breadsticks tomorrow, and tacos with several toppings will be served Saturday. For pre-orders, they must be in by 12 p.m. on the 11th and 12th, and curbside delivery of the meals is available from 5-7 p.m. on the 11th and 12th.
Families can also eat their meals inside the hotel. If they choose to eat in the hotel pre-orders aren’t necessary. For pre-orders, customers can call the front desk at 515-465-3511.
Finally, as attendees come through the door they will pick a number that will allow them to receive a gift ranging from gift cards to donated gifts from local businesses. There will be plenty of events going on during the Santa visits at Hotel Pattee.
