A Funeral Mass for Richard J. Higgins, 89, of Cypress, California, formerly of Grand Junction and Boone, will be Friday, December 18th, at 10:30 am at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction.  Burial with military rites will be at the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Grand Junction.  Visitation will be Friday, December 18th at 9:30 am until the time fo the service at the church.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret; children: Theresea Marie (Higgins) Safari Forooshani (Hassan), Diana Sue (Higgins) Riahi (Shapour), and Richard Wayne Higgins; step-children, Edward Terpening (Mike), Elizabeth (Terpening) Cruickshank (Vincent), Lorraine (Terpening) Carrillo, and Richard Terpening (Tina); other relatives and friends.
