The West Central Valley Wildcats girls basketball team played in their varsity game last night against Ankeny Christian Academy, and were able to walk away with a victory winning by the score of 60-19.

The Wildcats were able to win every quarter that they played in, and were exceptional on the defensive end of the court especially in the second half, when they only gave up four points in sixteen minutes of play. The Wildcats were able to hold Ankeny Christian to 29% free throw shooting and also cause 25 turnovers as well, good stats on the young season for the Wildcat defense.

The Wildcats will have their next game tonight, when both the boys and the girls have a game against their West Central Activities Conference Foe in Interstate 35, with the game to be played at West Central Valley High School.
