The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in special session Friday.
The Board discussed issues with county employees being approved for the Families First Coronavirus Response Act past the time period that is in the current policy. The policy states that with certain stipulations related to CVOID-19, county employees can use up to 14 days of additional leave. Then if employees need more time than that, they are to use their own personal paid leave.
Following the discussion, the Board approved an amendment to the policy about the human resources department is to communicate with the payroll department and coordinate together to track FFCRA leave.
