The family of Rev. Nell “Mama Nell” Pender, 72, of Dawson, will be hosting a Memorial service on Saturday, December 12th at 1 pm at the Revised Assembly, 4291 NE 6th Street in Des Moines.  Burial will be in the Dallas Township Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials may be given to the family and left at the Carris Family Funeral Home and Cremation Care in Perry.  Online condolences may be left at carrisfuneralhome.com.  Survivors include:  Husband, Larry.  Children, Layla Pender, Larry Campbell, Helene Campbell, Angel Killswat, Carlotta Brown, Donnie Brown, Patricia Khambanoun, Nell Brown, Joshua Brown, Titus Brown and Johnathan Brown.  27 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
