Open burning season in Perry has officially concluded, but the City continues to offer their free yard waste pickup service for the next few weeks.

Open burning ended earlier this month so disposal of yard waste by burning it is prohibited in City limits. The City is still offering their complementary curbside pickup service each Wednesday until December 9th. Leaves and mulched brush are asked to be placed near the curb in the front of the residence in paper bags with a maximum weight of forty pounds. All tree, bush, and brush materials can be bundled together in maximum lengths of four feet.
