Dallas County reported a new COVID-19 related death as cases rise throughout the area.
According to the State Dashboard Friday, Dallas County has 92 new cases since Wednesday for a total of 6,248 positive cases, ninth-most in the State. There have been 3,664 recoveries and 57 deaths. Dallas County has a 16.4% In Greene County, there are 10 more cases compared to Wednesday for a total of 516 with 203 recoveries and one death. Greene County has a 20.3% 14-day positivity rate.
According to the State Coronavirus Dashboard Friday, Adair County has six new cases since Wednesday for a total of 429 total cases, 223 recoveries, and eight deaths. Adair County has a 16.6% positivity rate. Guthrie County has 24 new positive cases since Wednesday, increasing their total to 739 with 426 recoveries and 15 deaths. Guthrie County has a 17.4% 14-day positivity rate.
Statewide there are a total of 223,825 cases, nearly 1,200 more than Wednesday, with 127,351 recoveries and 2,351 deaths. The State has an 18.7% 14-day positivity rate.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 302 hospitalized patients, 61 in Intensive Care Units, and 52 admitted in the last 24 hours.
