The Panora City Council approved a professional services agreement for mitigation of the Lenon Mill Dam during their regular meeting Monday.
Snyder & Associates will be providing preliminary design, final design and construction documents, bidding assistance, construction administration, and project management at the City’s discretion. The Council then approved the City’s annual financial report, and a $6,909 bid from Drees Company to install a new HVAC system and electric water heater in the City’s substation office. Finally, the Council discussed purchasing a City of Panora sign to be placed in front of City Hall that would tie in with the bollards that were installed on the City square earlier this year. They also voiced interest in partnering with the Chamber of Commerce to put similar signage promoting local businesses, and working with the Conservation Board to install a sign on the Raccoon River Valley Trailhead.
