The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers were able to win their opener on Monday night in Adel over Norwalk, winning by the score of 53-31.
ADM was lead by multiple players throughout the night with seniors Grace Hardcastle and AJ Smith able to put up great offense and defense and sophomore Nicole Storek leading the Tigers in points. ADM was able to dictate tempo throughout the night and play at their pace, while also helping starve Norwalk’s attack. The Tigers were able to play at a fast pace, leading to lots of turnover and easy layups.
The Tigers were able to get off to a quick start, as the 1st quarter turned out to be a major impact during the game, and the third quarter where the Tigers were able to balloon their lead after scoring twenty in the frame.
ADM will have another game tonight against the Bulldogs of Van Meter on the road, as ADM will look to begin their season at 2-0.
