Dallas County reported another wave of positive COVID-19 cases Wednesday, pushing their total over 5,500.

According to the State Coronavirus Dashboard Wednesday, Dallas County has 78 new cases since Tuesday increasing their total to 5,543, ninth-most in the State. There have been 3,300 recoveries and 54 deaths. Dallas County has a 21.1% In Greene County, there are 437 total cases, 182 recoveries, and one death. Greene County has a 26.4% 14-day positivity rate.

According to the State Dashboard Wednesday, Adair County has seven new cases since Tuesday for a total of 364 total cases, 149 recoveries, and five deaths. Adair County has an 18.7% positivity rate. Guthrie County has 13 new positive cases since Tuesday, increasing their total to 642 with 362 recoveries and 15 deaths. Guthrie County has a 21.9% 14-day positivity rate.

Statewide, there are a total of 195,611 cases, nearly 5,000 more than Tuesday, with 111,320 recoveries and 2,067 deaths. The State has a 17.4% 14-day positivity rate.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 388 hospitalized patients, 61 in Intensive Care Units, and 45 admitted in the last 24 hours.
