Dallas County reported one new COVID-19 death as cases continue to rise throughout the area.

According to the State Coronavirus Dashboard Tuesday, Dallas County has 179 new cases since Sunday increasing their total to 5,465, ninth-most in the State. There have been 3,273 recoveries and 54 deaths. Dallas County has a 21.3% 14-day positivity rate.Greene County reported their first COVID-19 death Friday. According to Greene County Public Health Tuesday, the individual was between 60-79 years old. Overall there are 380 active cases, 169 more than on November 8th, and a 25.9% 14-day positivity rate. 

According to the State Dashboard Tuesday, Adair County has nine new cases since Sunday for a total of 357 total cases, 144 recoveries, and five deaths. Adair County has an 18.3% positivity rate. Guthrie County has 13 new positive cases since Sunday, increasing their total to 629 with 359 recoveries and 15 deaths. Guthrie County has a 22.1% 14-day positivity rate.

Statewide, there are a total of 191,445 cases, nearly 7,000 more than Sunday, with 101,000 recoveries and 2,028 deaths. The State has a 17.1% 14-day positivity rate.

Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 392 hospitalized patients, 65 in Intensive Care Units, and 55 admitted in the last 24 hours.
