The Adel City Council will discuss a water main project during a special meeting later this evening.
The Council held a public hearing on the project during their regular meeting earlier this month. Once completed, the main will convey water from the new water plant to the high-pressure zone system on the south side of town. The Council approved adopting plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost of the project, but decided to table the following resolution designating the low bidder and awarding the contract to tonight.
