The Dallas Center – Grimes boys basketball team was just one game away from state a year ago, and with a good portion of their team returning for the 2020-21 season, they will be hoping to find a way to make it to state this upcoming season.
The duo that many will be keeping an eye on this season will be senior Luke Rankin and junior Cole Glasgow, two of the better players not just in the conference but in the state as well. Glasgow was able to lead the team in points per game during his sophomore season with 15.6 along with 4.4 rebounds as game as well. Glasgow is a rising player in the state of Iowa, and is hoping a big campaign will rise his prospects.
Rankin was able to set the table very well during his junior year with 13.6 points per game plus a solid 6.4 assists per game. Rankin was great at getting a lot of quality looks last year for himself and others, and should have that ability to do that once again this year.
DCG will have their first game against a team they know very well in ADM in Adel on December 1st.
