A reminder for Greene County veterans that today is a free movie at the Sierra Community Theatre in Jefferson.

The American Legion Post #11 of Jefferson and the Greene County Veterans Affairs Department are showing “Midway” today at 2pm. The movie is based on the World War II battle in the Pacific between the U.S. and Japan, following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Prior to the free movie, will be an update from Greene County Veterans Affairs Director Micheal Bierl. 

The movie is free to Greene County Veterans and their spouse, along with complimentary snacks. Due to COVID-19 concerns, there is a limited number of seats available inside the theater.
