A Greene County farmer was recently selected to serve on the United Soybean Board.
Rippey farmer Tim Bardole recently finished his term as the Iowa Soybean Association President and was nominated to serve on the U.S. United Soybean Board. Bardole will help oversee proper implementation of soybean checkoff funding for research, market development and promotional efforts to maximize profits for U.S. soybean farmers.
Tom Oswald of Cleghorn was also nominated, and both individuals will accept their appointments at a confirmation hearing next month. The United Soybean Board is composed of 73 farmer directors across the country, including four Iowans. Along with Oswald and Bardole, April Hemmes of Hampton and Lindsay Greiner of Keota also serve on the Board.
