Panorama wrestling is just a few days away from getting back to work.
Practice can officially begin Monday. The Panthers return one state placer from a season ago. Last year at the state tournament Wyatt Appleseth found success right away earning a fall in his first round match up in three minutes 18 seconds. He advanced to the semi finals after a quarterfinal win in a narrow four to three decision. Friday night the junior suffered his first loss of the season losing four to one to the eventual state champion from West Liberty. He bounced back with a win in the consolation semi finals to earn a place in the third-place match. Appleseth locked up his third place finish with a 5 to 2 decision in the finals.
