The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District saw an increase in certified enrollment for the 2020-21 school year.

ADM had 217 students open enroll in and 150 open-enroll out of the District for a net gain of 67 students. As the area population has grown over the last few years, ADM has seen open enrollment increase steadily. Superintendent Greg Dufoe tells Raccoon Valley Radio he’s pleased with another year of growth, “Our enrollment growth has been very good again. Total students served, it looks like we’re up in the mid-60’s. That’s really good and really important to us.”

Over the previous five school years, ADM has averaged a net increase of slightly more than 102 students. This year’s 67 net student gain is down from last year’s 74. The 150 students ADM reported enrolling out of the District is the highest mark in the previous five school years.
