Tuesday, November 10th

12:54pm: Officers assisted EMS with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of West Harrison Street.

5:19pm: Boone County requested an officer to check 1003 West Wall Street for a female who has outstanding Arrest Warrants from their county. The officer checked the address, but the female was not present.

6:27pm: Boy’s Town workers requested a Welfare Check on a possible Suicidal female juvenile in the 400 Block of West Russell Street. The officer made contact with the female and her parent and determined she was fine.

Wednesday, November 11th

8:56am: Brock Louk reported the Theft of his semi and trailer form 600 North Elm Street. The 2012 Peterbilt 9T and trailer were parked at the location at 2100 hours on 11/10/2020, and found missing this morning. The vehicle has been entered into NCIC as a Stolen Motor Vehicle.

11:30am: Heather Dobney spoke with an officer about a Civil Child Custody Issue occurring at 606 West Harrison Street.

3:50pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1700 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Eve Lederhouse of Ames being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

5:48pm: A deputy requested assistance from officers in locating a juvenile from Rippey that did not come home from school. They believed he may be in Jefferson. The officers began to search for the juvenile and were advised the deputy had located him and was taking him back to his parent.

6:00pm: Alisha Dehoet reported a Stray Dog near 402 West Russell Street. The officer did not locate the animal in the area.

7:58pm: A Traffic Stop at Washington and Wilson Ave. resulted in Caleb Byerly of Jefferson being cited for, “Fail to Obey Stop Sign.”

8:39pm: A caller advised of a pickup that had driven over the median at the parking lot at 106 West Washington Street. The officer located the vehicle leaving the business and followed it for several block s through town. No violations of law were witnessed by the officer.
