The Adel City Council will hold several public hearings regarding a residential development project during their regular meeting tonight.

The Council will have public hearings on expanding the Southbridge development area by 6.45 acres for single-family homes and rezoning 65.6 acres of land for plat four of the same development. The final public hearing will be for the plans, form of contract, specifications, and estimated cost for the water system improvement project.

The Council will then consider the approval of fire department officers. Other items on the agenda include a COVID-19 update, pay applications for several City projects, and transferring City funds for city attorney services.

The meeting will be held remotely, starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
