The traditional postseason potluck supper following a Greene County High School football season will not be held this year due to COVID-19 concerns. However, players will receive honors and head coach Caden Duncan explains. “We are going to have sort of a makeshift postseason wrap up and will probably have less people than we’ve had in the past. We’ll present awards and there won’t be any food or anything like that.”
Coach Duncan added players and parents would be allowed. Awards and accomplishments will be noted. “We’ll maybe snap a few pictures with a quick wrap up to the season, then get guys going forward to what Winter sports and other things they’ve got going on.”
Greene County went 7-3 on the season and finished second to Atlantic in Class 2A District 9. The Rams advanced to the round of 16 in the playoff, marking the third straight season they’ve gotten at least that far. A total of 16 Rams received All-District recognition of some type.
