Early bird registration for the 44th Annual Bike Ride to Rippey is now open. 

The annual bike ride will take place Saturday, February 6th, 2021. After the woes that 2020 has brought, this year’s theme is “Let’s BRRy 2020 Behind Us.” The Perry Chamber is asking for public participation in regards to designing this year’s shirt logo. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti tells Raccoon Valley Radio this contest is to strum up community engagement for the Chamber’s largest fundraiser, “One of the funnest parts of registration is getting that t-shirt every year. People really enjoy that tradition and we’re opening it up this year (to) build up some engagement, and have a little fun. So we’re inviting people to submit designs. We suggested a theme, burying 2020 in the past, and looking forward to what we hope 2021 will bring.”

The contest winner will win $50 in Perry bucks to use at local businesses. The deadline to submit designs is Monday. Designs can be emailed to the Perry Chamber at PerryChamber@PerryIA.com. Early bird registration is open for the rest of the year for the cost of $35. The price will increase to $40 after the calendar flips to 2021. You can find a link to register for the event here.
