Both Dallas and Adair counties reported one new COVID-19 related death Thursday.
According to the State Dashboard Thursday, Dallas County has 129 new cases since Wednesday increasing their total to 4,041, ninth-most in the State. There have been 3,002 recoveries and 50 deaths. Dallas County has an 11.1% 14-day positivity rate. Greene County added nine new cases, increasing their total to 234, 149 recoveries, and zero deaths, according to the State Dashboard. Greene County’s 14-day positivity rate is 7.9%.
Guthrie County reported 11 new positive cases since Wednesday, increasing their total to 474. They also have 307 recoveries and 15 deaths. Guthrie County has a 17.3%,14-day positivity average. Adair County has 16 new cases since Wednesday, increasing their total to 255 with 89 recoveries and two deaths. Adair County has a 19.3% 14-day positivity rate.
Statewide, there are a total of 142,071 cases, with 98,089 recoveries and 1,805 deaths. Of the 1,008,456 people that have been tested, 864,689 were negative, a 14.1% positivity rate.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 227 hospitalized patients, 40 in Intensive Care Units, and 37 admitted in the last 24 hours.
