The Raccoon River Conference has usually been able to provide non-stop entertainment year in and year out from a hoops standpoint on both the boys and girls side, and the 2020-21 season is not expected to be any different.
The league added two new members this last summer in both Gilbert and North Polk, both notable basketball foes and both expected to be tough in the conference from the get go.
Last year saw a league that saw on the boys side a team in Ballard who was able to make the state semifinals last year. On the girls side, both Ballard and Gilbert were able to make the state tournament, and both are expected to some of the favorites in the conference this year.
It is one of the most entertaining basketball conferences in the state of Iowa, and this year is expected to be no different as winning teams are traditionally built in the Raccoon River Conference.
