Guthrie County’s unofficial results are in for the 2020 general election.
For the County’s two contested races, Republican Dani Fink received the most votes with 78.72% of the vote while Hans Erickson received 21.10%, and for County Supervisor District 5 Republican incumbent Mike Dickson received 55.04% of the vote while Democrat Eric Tiernan received 44.43%. For State Senator District 10, Republican incumbent Jake Chapman received 3,982 votes while Democrat Warren Varley received 2,128, and for State Representative District 20 Republican incumbent Ray Sorensen received 4,737 votes while Democrat Ryan Morrison received 1,423 votes.
In the race for U.S. Representative District 3, Republican David Young received 3,890 votes, Democratic incumbent Cindy Axne received 2,094 votes, and Libertarian Bryan Holder received 270 votes. For U.S. Senator Republican incumbent Joni Ernst received 4,103 votes, Democrat Theresa Greenfield received 1,998 votes, and Libertarian Rick Stewart received 162 votes. For the Presidential race, Republican incumbent Donald Trump received 4,272 votes while Democrat Joe Biden received 1,985.
