
Both Dallas and Guthrie counties saw a double-digit increase in new COVID-19 cases Monday.
According to the State Dashboard Monday, Dallas County has 24 new cases since Sunday increasing their total to 3,798, ninth-most in the State. There have been 2,895 recoveries and 49 deaths. Dallas County has an 11.5% 14-day positivity rate. According to Greene County Public Health, Greene County has 204 cases, 125 recoveries, and zero deaths. Greene County’s 14-day positivity rate is 5.8%.
According to the Guthrie and Adair County Dashboard Monday, Guthrie County reported 17 new positive cases since Sunday, increasing their total to 444. They also have 284 recoveries and 15 deaths. Guthrie County has a 13.4%,14-day positivity average. Adair County has 229 total cases, with 77 recoveries and one death. Adair County has a 15.9% 14-day positivity rate.
Statewide, there are a total of 132,324 cases, with 93,978 recoveries and 1,747 deaths. Of the 980,037 people that have been tested, 852,024 were negative, a 16.8% positivity rate.
Additionally, in Region 1 of the Regional Medical Coordination Centers Hospital Data – which includes all of the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area – there are currently 179 hospitalized patients, 33 in Intensive Care Units, and 22 admitted in the last 24 hours.
