Tonight’s your chance to get an extra hour of sleep, as Daylight Saving Time officially ends at 2 a.m. tomorrow morning.

This means you should remember to turn back your clocks one hour before heading to bed. It’s also a great time to check your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. The public should also get ready for darker evenings as the amount of daylight will shorten each day until the winter solstice on December 21st. Daylight Saving Time will begin again on March 14th when we spring our clocks forward one hour.
