The annual Spooktacular Trick-or-Treat walk in downtown Perry is happening this evening.

Before Beggar’s Night officially kicks off in Perry, kids are invited to 2nd Street to start their candy quest in a safe and family-friendly environment. Willis Avenue from 1st to 3rd Street and 2nd Street from Otley to Pattee street will be closed to vehicles from 4-6 p.m. this evening. The Raccoon Valley Radio Big Red Radio will also be making an appearance, playing Halloween-themed music. Once the event concludes, Beggar’s Night begins throughout several Dallas County neighborhoods like Perry and Granger. Other cities including Adel, Minburn, and Redfield will have their Beggar’s Night tomorrow.
