The Community Players of Greene County are hosting their second annual Halloween-themed fundraiser on Saturday.

The Players will be dressing up as members of the Addams Family, as they will be entertaining guests on a railroad train with the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad. Tim Pound with the Players says part of the proceeds will be donated back to them for future productions. Last year, they made $500. 

The train will board at 5:45pm Saturday in Boone, with $20 per ticket, with a limited number of tickets remaining. Due to COVID-19, all guests must wear masks and there will be assigned seating. Guests are asked to arrive at the depot by 5:15pm as the 1-hour and 45-minute train ride will leave by 6pm. Contact the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad to purchase advanced tickets at 515-432-4249.
