The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School District is seeing a higher amount of students electing on-site learning compared to the first half of the semester.
As ADM Schools are turning the calendar into their second nine-week quarter of the fall semester, families once again have the opportunity to enroll in, or out of, remote learning. ADM encourages a nine-week commitment with the online option to maintain consistency in each student’s learning experience. Entering the second quarter of the school year, Superintendent Greg Dufoe tells Raccoon Valley Radio the percentage of students choosing to attend on-site is increasing. Dufoe says under eight percent of students have opted to stay online, which is about one percent lower than where the District was in August. The consensus from Dufoe, the administration team, and the school board is that the best way to serve their students is by continuing their Return to Learn plan, which includes 100% on-site learning with a remote option.
