A Stuart woman was recently convicted for operating while intoxicated third offense, a class D felony.

Court documents show that through a plea agreement, 50-year-old Marcia Michelle Link was given a suspended five-year prison sentence to serve three years probation. Link must pay a $3,125 fine with the statutory 15% surcharge and $500 in restitution, and the Iowa Department of Transportation is ordered to revoke her drivers license for six years. The charge stemmed from a May 2nd incident in which Link was found slumped over the steering wheel in a vehicle parked on a bridge in the 2300 block of Walnut Trail. Link admitted to drinking a pint of vodka, and she had a .263 blood-alcohol-content level.
