Perry defensive tackle Manny Soto earned first team all district honors Tuesday as released by the Dallas Center Grimes Athletic Department.  The junior led Perry in tackle for losses finishing with five including a pair of sacks.  Secondary players Juan Hernandez and Tanner Burgin were selected to the 2nd Team All District squad while sophomore Gavin Hegstrom was the youngest Bluejay to place on the 2nd team all district unit.  The youngster played the final two games with a cast on his left hand.  He was a two player for Perry this season.  The Honorable Mention selections will be announced tomorrow.
