Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls cross country teams will be both looking to put on a great showing this upcoming week. Both of these teams have been great all year long, as the boys are currently ranked as of Tuesday first in the state of Iowa, and the girls have been ranked second in class 3A.

This is a team that has been able to be carried by multiple runners on both the boys and girls side. On the boys side, they have had some great individual runners on the season so far, with Aiden Ramsey being the number 3 ranked runner in the state, junior Jacob Ewers ranked 8th in the state, and freshmen Tate McDermott 22nd in the state.

On the girls side, they have sophomore  Kami Smith who is 17th, senior Megan Sterbenz who is currently ranked 22nd, and 26th for senior Miranda Muhlstein as well.

DCG will be looking for these runners to get a high place, as they hope that their performance will help them deliver potentially some team state titles.
